Bangladesh is one of the densely populated country in the world & earns about 84% of our total foreign currency from garment sector. To reduce the cost of production the automation has been takes place in our modern garment industry thus production rate has been increased significantly & reduces the overhead cost as well. As the production rate is high, this automation leading a higher amount of textile waste & more unemployment creating day by day. To solve this problem, we "Nature Works LTD" a sister concern company of "DENIVER" which is established in 2020, sets up our mind to do something where we can keep some contribution to solve these problem. To make recycle rugs from scarps which are making by hand woven process with the traditional handloom are creating more no of employment in a bigger industrial chain which are accessible to rural worker. Our workshop is located 370km far from the capital city Dhaka & 20 min drive from saidpur airport & about 40 min drive from the Uttara EPZ (Nilphamari). We have built our factory in the "MONGA" area to avoid a problematic imbalance between the urban and rural area. Artisans of "Nature Works LTD" are 90% of women & within their walking or cycling distance from our workplace so that they no need to pay for transport or accommodation costOur Recycled Rugs History:Steps towards environment: We care our environment that's why our main goal to minimize the amount wastes. Though there have no exact figure to say the amount of knitting waste produces in our country but considerably it's a large amount. In 2017 it was approximately 16356tons & expecting to reach the solid textile waste up to 43000 tons by 2025. According to our current setup we can consume up to 204 tons/year knitting waste & within 2025 we are expecting to consume about 1500 tons/year knitting waste to make our recycled cotton rugs. Save the Resource: Our recycled cotton rugs have huge impact to save the global resource. Estimates are not so exact, but in traditional cotton production it can take about 10,000 liters of water to produce one kilograms of cotton fabric (source BCI).To quote it another way, 1 kg of our recycled cotton rugs saving 10,000 liters of water from our global resources.Sustainability:Consumers and designers are shifting their preferences towards more sustainable choices, especially in the mid-high to high-end market segments. Besides using the cotton waste we are using natural materials such as Jute to make braided Rugs, bags & Seagrass to make baskets as our raw material which fits in well with this trend. Natural dyes from Indigofera Tinctoria added as an extra sustainable feature while making our indigo denim. Design & Co-creation Our hand woven rugs come in a wide variety of designs, styles and patterns. Those are colorful or plain to match client's requirement. It is also possible to print on braided jute rugs to add pattern and color.We have our skilled technical stuff; Customers can cooperate with us to develop their own designs.
